Java Jasper Developer

Role Description

1.Design and implement Jasper Reports given a prototype layout and a query hitting the PostgreSQL back-end.

2.Will have the primary responsibility for report development/analysis.

3.Should have in-depth knowledge of Jasper Reports and SQL .

4.Should have good experience in application of standard software development principles.

5.Able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks.

6.Should have interest to work with other interactive data visualization software products like Power BI.

Experience: 2- 4 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Technical Competencies

JasperSoft Studio

JasperServer

Databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)

Core Java

SpringBoot(Optional)

Angular or other UI framework(Optional)

Soft Skill Competencies

Analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and propose practical solutions for report-related challenges.

Ensure accuracy and consistency in report design, data, and formatting.

Work well with developers, database admins, and business analysts to deliver high-quality reports.

Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects efficiently.

Learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies to stay updated in a changing tech environment.

Design visually appealing and user-friendly reports that are easy to interpret.

Take ownership of tasks and deliver reliable, high-quality work.

Experience working in agile development environments.

Experience in Jira

Ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks as per project needs.
