Java Full Stack Developer - Spring Boot/AngularJS

Key Responsibilities

• Document and demonstrate software and data solutions using documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code; behavior-driven and test-driven development preferred.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, architects, agile and operations teams to plan Program Increments (PI) and sprints.
• Participate actively in PI planning, understand sprint commitments, and own user stories through completion.
• Identify dependencies and risks early, proactively communicating them.
• Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Follow Git flow with pull requests, maintain unit test coverage, and ensure code passes SonarQube quality gates.
• Communicate technical and operational issues promptly to engineering and leadership teams.
• Adhere to technology standards during system development.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, infrastructure, and other teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of system requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and support team deliverables proactively.

Relevant Experience & Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (IT, Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Systems).
• 6+ years hands-on experience across Software Development Life Cycle with Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, Angular/TypeScript, JSON (RESTful API).
• Proficient with Git version control, including Git flow and pull requests; IDEs such as Eclipse and IntelliJ; SQL tools like SQL Developer.
• Experienced with Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and security scanning tools (e.g., Veracode).
• Skilled in unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito; experienced in code reviews.
• Strong database skills with schemas, tables, triggers, indexes, sequences, constraints, functions, and procedures.
• Experience with JBoss/Wildfly application server, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in debugging applications, both local and remote; able to debug frontend JavaScript using browser tools.
• Capable of effort estimation, code review, and integrating work from junior SEs.
