Job Description: Java Architect
Experience: Minimum 7 years in building large and complex architecture or redesign projects.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end understanding of all phases of project implementation.
Strong grasp of design aspects and hands-on development.
Work closely with client architects and business teams to define technical solutions and enhance existing application architecture.
Identify hardware and software infrastructure needs to meet architectural goals.
Perform validation tests to ensure flexibility and scalability of the Java environment.
Assist the software design team with application integration.
Conduct system performance tests and troubleshoot design flaws and bottlenecks.
Implement secure coding practices and ensure high-quality standards.
Build concurrent applications using multi-threading in Java
Technical Skills
Core Java: Excellent understanding of enterprise Java language and frameworks.
Java Design Principles: Deep knowledge of design principles and patterns.
Frameworks: Strong hands-on experience in Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate.
API Development: Hands-on experience implementing secure, high-quality REST APIs
UI Development: Preferred full-stack experience including front-end frameworks like Angular 11+ or React.
Performance & Scalability: Understanding of non-functional parameters for large-scale applications, including scalability, resiliency, and maintainability
Database: Excellent knowledge of RDBMS (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra
Caching: Knowledge of distributed cache systems
XML: Experience with XML parsing, transformation, and schema.
Testing: Understanding of TDD/BDD practices and unit/mock testing frameworks
Cloud: Sound knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
