About Team
Maintenance Wealth and Technology ART handles end-to-end delivery of client maintenance issues. Adherence to client SLAs, quick turnaround of issues and continuous quality improvement are key to this ART. You will be involved in the maintenance activities of Microservices ( Business and Infra ) and Event Frameworks
Event Framework (in Temenos Transact)
The
Event Framework enables seamless integration and communication between
Temenos Transact and other internal or external systems. It manages the
publishing, subscription, and processing of integration events, ensuring that key transactional activities (like account creation, payments, or party updates) are automatically shared across connected systems in real time.
Microservices (Business and Infra)
In
Temenos architecture, the solution is divided into
Microservices small, independent components designed for scalability, flexibility, and faster deployment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop & maintain enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework and JPA
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Implement containerization strategies using Docker for development and production environments
- Deploy and manage applications on Tomcat and JBoss application servers
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation
Required Skills
- BE/BTech graduate with 3 to 4 years of experience in Java, RESTful web services and API development
- Extensive experience with Docker containerization and deployment with solid understanding of Tomcat and JBoss application servers
- Exposure in microservices architecture patterns
- Exposure in the Spring Framework ecosystem, including Core, Boot, MVC, Security and JPA (Java Persistence API) /Hibernate for database interactions
- Knowledge of database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle)
- Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle), version control systems (Git)
- Optional Skills : Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) & Understanding of message queues and event-driven architectures. Knowledge of security best practices in Java applications & exposure on monitoring and logging tools
