A fast-growing organisation in the IT services and enterprise software sector, delivering backend systems, web applications and digital transformation projects for clients across finance, e-commerce and enterprise markets. We design and operate scalable, secure Java-based microservices and APIs that run in production at scale. This is an on-site developer role based in India for engineers who enjoy building reliable backend systems and shipping high-quality code.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture with a focus on fault tolerance, observability and performance.
- Write clean, well-tested code; author unit and integration tests and participate actively in peer code reviews.
- Implement and optimise data access layers using Hibernate/JPA and tune SQL queries for performance.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and deployment processes to deliver reliable releases to production.
- Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps teams to resolve production issues, troubleshoot incidents and improve system reliability.
