Primary Job Title: Java Developer
Location & Working Model: On-site role in India candidates must be available to work from the assigned office.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot that power RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems.
- Implement data persistence using Hibernate/JPA and optimise SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
- Integrate applications with third-party APIs, messaging systems, and internal services; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps in an Agile environment to deliver features end-to-end and continuously improve delivery speed.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and container-ready builds to support deployment and runtime observability.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Strong Java development experience with Spring Boot and related Spring modules.
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices principles.
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases; strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with source control workflows using Git and dependency management with Maven/Gradle.
- Practical knowledge of writing unit/integration tests and using debugging/profiling tools.
- Ability to work on-site in India and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Exposure to CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) or caching technologies (Redis).
