Java Developer

Below is the JD for Java position.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in building enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, DSL, and jOOQ. The ideal candidate should possess strong database expertise, excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and optimize database interactions using jOOQ and SQL.
• Build reusable and maintainable business logic using DSL-based frameworks.
• Write efficient, optimized, and complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues through effective debugging techniques.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in application performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization activities.
• Contribute to system design discussions and technical solutioning.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with jOOQ and database query optimization.
• Experience working with DSL (Domain Specific Language) based development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Good understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, and clean coding principles.
• Experience with Git and modern development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
