Requirements
- Strong hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and multithreading concepts
- Experience with database modeling and writing optimized queries
- Familiarity with ORM frameworks like Hibernate / JPA
- Hands-on experience in Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to debug complex issues across services, networks, and databases
- Understanding of Agile development practices and DevOps collaboration
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring / Spring Boot.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices with security, scalability, and performance in mind.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to build reliable data persistence layers.
- Integrate third-party systems and internal services using APIs and messaging systems.
- Write clean, modular, testable code aligned with engineering standards.
- Optimize application performance, logging, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with UI Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and Product Managers.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, design discussions, and peer code reviews.
- Deploy and maintain services using CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
Preferred Qualification
Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven communication Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / Serverless deployments Exposure to Cloud native development on AWS / GCP / Azure Experience with financial, banking, insurance, or SaaS product ecosystems Knowledge of performance profiling, application security, and observability tools Contributions to open-source projects or experience in startup-speed delivery environments
