About Position:

We are hiring a highly skilled Java Developer with a strong DevOps background (AWS) and deep expertise in building scalable, distributed, cloud-native systems. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, API design, AWS services, automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and cloud security.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and deploy Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices-based applications.
  • Apply deep understanding of distributed computing principles to build scalable and resilient systems.
  • Design, build, secure, and optimize RESTful APIs and high-performing backend services.
  • Implement resilient and self-healing systems with fault-tolerance, retries, and graceful degradation patterns.
  • Build and optimize cloud-native applications within an AWS environment.
  • Work with AWS Serverless computing: Lambda, Step Functions (advantageous).
  • Use non-blocking I/O for high-throughput, low-latency integrations.
  • Implement and manage security technologies: MASSL, certificate management, web service security, AWS data encryption SDKs.

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Ensure high-quality code through stubbing, mocking, and automated unit/integration tests.
  • Apply static code analysis tools such as Sonar, Veracode, and dependency evaluation tools.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, GitLab, and Jenkins.
  • Use observability and assurance tools: Splunk, New Relic, AppDynamics, PagerDuty for monitoring, alarm configuration, and trend analysis.
  • Work with DynamoDB, Kinesis Streams, CloudWatch for high-scale event-driven architectures.
  • Use automation testing frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave, Selenium, etc.
  • Contribute to design discussions, architecture reviews, and technical documentation.
