Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Spark and backend application development. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure, high-quality software solutions while working with large-scale data systems and modern cloud-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring, and RESTful services
Build and optimize data processing solutions using Apache Spark
Write secure, efficient, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices
Perform technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for application issues
Design solutions with awareness of upstream and downstream system dependencies
Utilize SDLC tools and automation frameworks to improve development efficiency
Analyze large and diverse datasets to support application stability and decision-making
Participate in code reviews, refactoring activities, and enforcement of coding standards
Work with relational databases, primarily Oracle, for data persistence and optimization
Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated build and deployment processes
Apply secure coding practices to ensure reliable and stable application development
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technical standards

Required Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or application development
Strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture
Mandatory hands-on experience with Apache Spark
Strong expertise in Oracle RDBMS and SQL development
Experience working with REST APIs and backend service development
Hands-on exposure to cloud technologies, containers, and streaming platforms such as Kafka
Experience using source control tools such as Git
Good understanding of CI/CD tools including Jenkins and build tools like Maven or Gradle
Strong focus on delivering resilient, secure, and high-quality software solutions
