Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
• Work with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or JPA.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues in development and production.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Write unit and integration tests using tools like JUnit or TestNG.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java development.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of core Java (Java 8 or above).
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM tools like Hibernate.
• Experience with version control (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Exposure to front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React, or basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Agile/Scrum development experience.
