Lead Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Lead to join our dynamic team and drive the development of high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. This role is tailored for a proactive, customer-focused professional with strong hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, the Spring ecosystem, and microservices development, who can work independently under an agile methodology.

As our Java Lead, you will own the full software development lifecycle — from concept and design through development, testing, and deployment — while bringing a quality-first, process-oriented approach to everything you build.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop RESTful web services.
• Work hands-on with relational databases (Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL / SQL Server).
• Develop web applications leveraging the Spring Framework.
• Develop microservices leveraging Spring Boot.
• Work with application servers such as Tomcat.
• Use Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Champion agile methodologies with an emphasis on quality and standards-based development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BTech) in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Experience building backend APIs using the Spring Boot Framework, Spring DI, and Spring AOP.
• Experience with real-time messaging integration using Kafka or a similar framework.
• Experience with at least one database: Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a self-motivated, positive, and adaptable approach to new challenges.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, with strong time-management and prioritization skills.
