Job Title: Java Backend Engineer

Required Skills & Technologies

• Programming Language: Java 21
• Framework: SpringBoot
• AI Tools: GitHub Copilot expertise with strong proficiency in prompt engineering
• APIs: RESTful APIs, gRPC
• Testing: Quarkus Test, Postman, JUnit 5, Mockito
• Database Change Management: Liquibase
• Static Code Analysis: SonarQube
• Dynamic Security Analysis: Fortify
• Only Banking or Finance Domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve SonarQube issues to ensure high code quality and maintainability
• Remediate Fortify security findings to support secure application development practices
• Design, develop, and execute JUnit-based unit and integration tests
• Refactor existing codebases to improve performance, scalability, and readability
• Analyze and fix defects identified during development, testing, and QA cycles
• Assist in the development and integration of AI agents to support software engineering tasks across the SDLC
• Support the creation of prompt templates, custom instructions, and chat mode configurations for GitHub Copilot
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers to implement AI-driven solutions for coding, testing, and technical documentation
