To be successful as a Java Developer, you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java programming language
- Expertise in developing and optimizing Java-based applications
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques for Java applications
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in both Linux and Windows Server operating systems
- In-depth understanding of multithreading and concurrency in Java
- Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Minimum Qualification - bachelor's degree.
Desirable Skillsets/ Good To Have
- Knowledge of containerization platforms such as OpenShift, Rancher
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab pipelines and TeamCity
- Proven ability to redesign applications and drive simplification efforts
