Role Overview
We are hiring a Java Backend Developer to work remotely from India. The role focuses on backend development using Spring Boot, JAX-RS, JPA, and MySQL, with strong emphasis on leveraging AI tools to boost productivity, problem-solving, and automation. Knowledge of JSF is an advantage but not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services with Spring Boot and JAX-RS
- Design RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend/third-party services
- Implement efficient data access using JPA and optimize MySQL queries
- Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, AI-powered IDEs) to improve code quality and speed up development
- Stay updated with AI trends and apply them to workflows and automation
- Collaborate with international team members across time zones
Requirements
- 26 years of Java backend development experience
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, JAX-RS, JPA, MySQL
- Familiarity with REST API design principles
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows
- AI Proficiency: Comfortable using AI tools for coding, debugging, documentation, and automation
- Bonus: Knowledge of JSF
