Java backend (JAVA+Kotlin)

Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with expertise in Java and Kotlin to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs using Java and Kotlin
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java and Kotlin

Skills and Qualifications

Should have:

Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)

Knowledge of agile methods, CI/CD

Basic knowledge of software testing

Basic knowledge of build tools (e.g. gradle, maven)

(Technical) documentation skills

Knowledge of Domain-driven design (DDD)

Nice to have:

DevOps mindset: you build it, you run it

Kubernetes, yaml

Logfile analysis skills
