Java Architect

Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Architect to lead the design and development of robust Java applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java technologies and will be responsible for guiding the architectural direction of our projects while mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance Java applications.
• Lead architectural design discussions and document architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices and design patterns.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Java.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Java development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in Java 8 and above, including knowledge of new features.
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
