Java Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Client-Facing Technical Architect to join our team of

experts delivering scalable, microservices-based enterprise solutions across a variety of

customers, especially in regulated and complex environments like banking and financial

services.

In this role, you will act as a technical leader, trusted advisor, and architecture expert,

working closely with customer stakeholders (CIO, Infrastructure Heads, Security, and DevOps

teams) to drive successful implementations of our productized microservice solutions.

You'll bring a deep understanding of enterprise systems, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and

application architecture. You should be able to translate customer requirements into robust

architectures, aligning with their identity, observability, integration, and deployment

landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end solution architecture design for client implementations, based on our

core microservice-based platform.

Interface with client stakeholders including architecture, security, DevOps, and business

teams to understand requirements and constraints.

Own the Bill of Materials (BoM) and architectural blueprints, tailoring deployment

models to client infrastructure (on-prem, cloud, or hybrid).

Integrate with customer systems such as IAM/SSO platforms, observability stacks (e.g.,

ELK, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Splunk), and banking-grade security components.

Guide customers through containerized deployments (Docker/K8s), CI/CD workflows,

and DevSecOps best practices.

Ensure alignment with customer's data infrastructure involving PostgreSQL, Oracle DB,

messaging systems (Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ).

Drive architectural governance, technical workshops, and solution reviews.

Collaborate with internal engineering and delivery teams to ensure implementations are

robust and aligned with client needs.

Stay abreast of evolving enterprise tech stacks and provide forward-looking guidance to

both clients and internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1215 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and

implementation in customer-facing roles.

Deep hands-on and architectural knowledge of:

Microservice architectures and Spring-based frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring

Cloud, etc.).

Messaging systems like Apache Kafka and ActiveMQ.

RDBMS platforms like PostgreSQL and Oracle Database.

Proven experience integrating with enterprise IAM systems (OAuth2, SAML, LDAP,

etc.).

Solid understanding of DevOps practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and

CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitOps, etc.).

Experience navigating enterprise observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana,

AppDynamics, Splunk).

Strong grasp of infrastructure architecture across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud

environments.

Experience with banking/financial services clients or other regulated industries is a

major plus.

Ability to create and present architecture diagrams, BoMs, and technical documentation.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to travel to client sites (if required).
