As a Junior Consultant in the Digital Banking team, you'll participate in the development, implementation, and support of next-generation Oracle Banking products. You will work collaboratively with both local and offshore teams, applying your technical knowledge to deliver quality solutions for our clients within the European region. Qualifications & SkillsMandatory2-5 years of experience in software development, implementation, or support (minimum 1 year in primary skill areas).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with one or more: Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, JavaScript, XML.
Working knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and familiarity with Oracle Database (12c/18c).
Experience with application server deployment/troubleshooting (preferably Oracle Weblogic).
Exposure to banking domain and digital banking applications.
Release management and source control tools familiarity.
Strong client interaction, communication, and documentation skills (English).
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to work offshore, travel as needed, and work rotating shifts based on project demands.
Experience with Agile/DevOps tools, cloud & SaaS deployments, testing tools.
Familiarity with Oracle OBIEE Reports, BI Publisher, middleware (Oracle Fusion SOA Suite).
Awareness of software development best practices and banking concepts.
Willingness to pursue Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications.
Do you have at least one year of hands-on experience in software development or implementation with Core Java, J2EE, or related technologies
Can you describe your exposure to banking or digital banking applications, and how you have supported similar technology projects
Have you deployed and troubleshot applications on servers such as Oracle Weblogic Please share a recent example.
Are you comfortable working in dynamic, high-pressure environments with changing priorities, including offshore or shift-based assignments
Have you used source control and release management tools as part of enterprise application lifecycle management
Participate as a technical team member in development, implementation, or managed services streams, focusing on migration, integration, testing support, and coordination with stakeholders.
Analyze, design, and contribute to implementation of solutions based on business requirements.
Develop, code, and unit test programs as per provided specifications, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
Adhere to defined standard processes, compliance, documentation, and change control protocols.
Support deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities on application servers (especially Oracle Weblogic).
Track and resolve issues using release management and source control tools.
Prepare and present documentation in line with Oracle/client standards ensure effective knowledge transfer at project handovers.
Complete timely reporting, submit timesheets/expenses, and communicate status updates to supervisors.
