Role Description

This is a contract-based, remote role for a Japanese Transcription & Segmentation Expert. The responsibilities include accurately transcribing and segmenting audio recordings, ensuring linguistic accuracy, maintaining formatted consistency, and aligning the transcription with project-specific guidelines. Additional tasks may include quality assurance checks and collaborating with internal teams to meet deadlines and deliver polished results.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Japanese transcription, segmentation, and linguistic nuances
• Attention to detail for maintaining transcription accuracy and audio timing alignment
• Familiarity with transcription software and tools
• Previous experience with quality control or QA processes in transcription projects
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Capacity to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience in AI-related transcription projects or linguistic data work is an advantage
• Fluency in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
