What You Will Do
Assigns daily work priorities based on work volume, processing requirements and accounting deadlines. Trains and supervises Accounts Receivable coordinators in department policies and procedures. Handles inquiries regarding Accounts Receivable, resolves discrepancies or errors in application, works with other accounting personnel regarding processing questions and procedures. Researches and resolves Accounts Receivable issues with customers or vendors respectively. Resolves discrepancies and charge-backs. Implements internal processes to improve team efficiency by reducing non-value added activities. Makes recommendations for improving processing functions. Ensures compliance with all laws and regulations associated with duties and responsibilities. Supervises and evaluates performance of staff. Recommends salary increases, promotions, hires and terminations. Makes recommendations for improving processing functions.
