Role Overview

We are looking for an Implementation Engineer to lead and support infrastructure implementation activities for our clients. This is a hands-on technical role suited for someone with solid experience in server environments and virtualization, who is comfortable working across diverse enterprise IT landscapes.

You will work directly with clients to understand their infrastructure, configure and deploy solutions, and ensure successful delivery from kickoff to go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation and configuration of Device42 ITAM solution for enterprise clients

• Perform network and infrastructure discovery across physical, virtual, and cloud environments

• Work with client teams to understand existing server and virtualization setups and translate them into system configurations

• Manage setup, validation, testing, and handover during project delivery

• Troubleshoot implementation issues and provide technical guidance to clients

• Document configurations, discoveries, and environment-specific implementation details

• Collaborate with engineers and project leads on delivery timelines and client communications

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, server administration, or virtualization

• Strong working knowledge of virtualization platforms — VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, or equivalent

• Solid understanding of Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments

• Good grasp of networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, routing & switching

• Relevant certifications such as VCP, MCSA, RHCSA, CCNA, or equivalent

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, ECE, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage client technical teams directly

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Familiarity with ITSM tools or enterprise IT platforms 

• Prior experience in IT infrastructure implementation or solution delivery roles

• Exposure to CMDB, DCIM, or ITAM platforms
