Job Summary:
We are looking for a Windows Scripting Specialist / DevOps engineer to develop, maintain, and automate our Windows-based infrastructure and administrative activities. You will work at the intersection of system administration, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) in a Windows environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong PowerShell, Python skills and a passion for automating system administration tasks, deployments, and configurations.
Job Description:
Design, write, and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, VBScript, .NET to streamline administrative and operational tasks.
Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, and monitoring of Windows Servers and desktop environments.
Work with system administrators to identify automation opportunities and implement reliable, scalable solutions.
Automate O365 administrative activities using Graph APIs.
Support integration of scripting with deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools.
Create and maintain documentation for scripts, processes, and automation workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation scripts and scheduled tasks.
Participate in automation of CI/CD processes and infrastructure as part of larger DevOps initiatives.
Support security and compliance initiatives through automated compliance, patching, logging, and auditing.
Support asset management and compliance through automation and auditing.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Windows scripting - PowerShell, Python.
Experience automation of routine IT tasks (account provisioning/deprovisioning, patching/security tools compliance reporting/remediation)
Understanding of scripting best practices, version control (Git), and code modularity.
Familiarity with scripting for Windows Task Scheduler, WMI, and COM objects.
Demonstrated project experience building AI-driven and automation-based solutions using tools such as GPT APIs, workflow orchestration platforms, and embeddings.
Hands-on experience building end-to-end AI agent workflows or API-driven AI agents.
Familiarity with modern AI-native toolchains, such as n8n, Make, Vapi, Zapier, LangGraph, LlamaIndex Agents, OpenAI Assistants API, or similar platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Preferred:
Experience integrating scripts with tools like SCCM, Azure Automation, or Ansible (Windows modules).
Basic windows administration skills, knowledge on TCP/IP, DNS
Education:
BE/BTech/ME/MTech in any stream or equivalent
