We are looking for a proactive IT Administrator to take complete ownership of our IT operations as an Individual Contributor. This role involves managing end-to-end IT administration, including onboarding and offboarding, asset management, access control, procurement, and day-to-day technical support. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless IT operations, system security, and a smooth employee experience across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end IT operations as an Individual Contributor, acting as the single point of contact for all IT-related activities.
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, email/tool access provisioning, and timely de-provisioning.
- Provide day-to-day IT support (hardware, software, network) and ensure quick resolution of issues for both remote and in-office teams.
- Manage IT assets lifecycle inventory tracking, allocation, returns, audits, and maintenance of an accurate asset register.
- Oversee user access, credentials, and license management, ensuring correct access levels and timely renewals.
- Handle IT procurement and vendor management, including sourcing, negotiations, and ensuring timely availability of equipment/services.
- Maintain and ensure system health and security (OS updates, patches, antivirus, endpoint security, backups).
- Implement and enforce IT policies, security practices, and compliance requirements (including audit support if applicable).
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and reports (assets, incidents, expenses, usage).
- Monitor and optimize IT costs and resource utilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field with 3-5 years of IT Administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows/macOS environments and end-user support.
- Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration.
- Good understanding of networking basics (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Experience in IT asset management, procurement, and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with SaaS tools, license management, and access control.
- Basic knowledge of IT security practices and compliance standards.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
