Job Title: IT Support Engineer Microsoft 365 & Intune
Primary Focus
Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations by administering Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management, and Microsoft 365 services, while delivering high-quality L1L2 end-user support in a hybrid enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 & Identity Administration
- Provide L1L2 support for Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Manage users, groups, roles, and permissions in hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
- Support Identity and Access Management (IAM), including role-based access control and conditional access.
- Monitor and respond to Microsoft 365 service alerts, incidents, and outages.
Endpoint & Device Management
- Administer Intune (MDM/MAM) to enforce endpoint compliance, security baselines, and configuration policies.
- Troubleshoot and support Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoints, including AVD environments.
- Assist with patch management and system updates for servers and endpoints.
- Enforce security policies via Intune and Group Policy.
Security & Compliance
- Apply enterprise security best practices including:
- Principle of Least Privilege
- Data encryption and device security
- Support email security, mail flow, spam filtering, and mail hygiene using Microsoft Defender or third-party solutions.
End-User Support & Operations
- Provide remote and on-site support with strong communication and follow-up.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and access provisioning.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Maintain hardware, software, and license inventory.
Monitoring, Backup & Optimization
- Monitor system performance and assist in capacity planning and optimization.
- Participate in backup and recovery operations for critical systems and data.
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in IT Support, Endpoint Administration, or Intune/M365 environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Strong experience in Windows endpoint support and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Intune, MDM solutions, and compliance policies.
- Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
