Join Amazon Global IT Support and make a meaningful impact by leading technical teams and solving complex IT challenges across our Corporate Offices in the National Capital Region, India. As an IT Support Manager II, you'll combine your technical expertise with collaborative leadership to ensure our teams have the technology solutions they need to succeed.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a technical IT team, providing guidance on complex troubleshooting, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities
  • Manage service level agreements and governance to ensure consistent uptime and quality support for our customers across the region
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to implement technology solutions and execute projects that span multiple locations
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automating manual tasks and creating tools that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support corporate events and initiatives by managing audio visual services and coordinating technical requirements for virtual and physical gatherings

A day in the life

As an IT Support Manager II, you'll lead a technical team dedicated to supporting Amazon employees with their IT needs across multiple locations in the region. Your day might include coordinating with stakeholders to resolve escalated technical issues, managing audio visual services for corporate events, and working with your team to troubleshoot complex system problems. You'll also spend time mentoring team members, reviewing the quality of their work, and identifying opportunities to automate manual processes that make operations more efficient. Whether you're implementing new technology solutions, managing service level agreements, or collaborating with vendors on larger projects, you'll be at the center of keeping our technology infrastructure running smoothly.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 4+ years of Microsoft administration, Linux administration, or Cisco IOS (CLI) experience
  • 4+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience
  • Experience with event AV and live event planning
  • 4+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience
  • 4+ years of technical team management experience
  • Experience in photo and video production, including post production, lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics
  • Knowledge of cabling best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Active Directory, or experience deploying, managing, and optimizing Microsoft Windows Server and experience demonstrating software engineering skills in a previous intership, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in Linux and Networking protocols and experience in networking administration and troubleshooting
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities and experience in managing and troublshooting network
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
  • Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • ITIL certification
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
