Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for providing exceptional support to end-users.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Assist in the setup and deployment of new IT equipment.
- Document and track issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and systems.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-10 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with hardware components and peripherals.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and user account management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
