Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to manage day-to-
day IT infrastructure, provide technical support, and ensure smooth functioning of hardware,
software, and networking systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on troubleshooting
experience and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hardware Support
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues and component failures
- Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades
2. Software Management
- Install, configure, and update operating systems (Windows / macOS)
- Manage software installations, patches, and upgrades
- Troubleshoot application-related issues
3. Networking
- Basic configuration and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN networks
- Support routers, switches, and Wi-Fi connectivity
- Monitor network performance and escalate complex issues
4. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Provide remote and on-site support
- Maintain logs of issues and resolutions
5. Ad-hoc Technical Support
- Handle urgent and unplanned IT issues
- Support cross-functional teams with technical needs
- Assist in onboarding setup (systems, access, etc.)
6. IT Asset Management
- Track and maintain inventory of IT assets (hardware/software)
- Manage asset allocation, movement, and lifecycle
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance
7. Biometric Systems Support
- Install, configure, and maintain biometric devices
- Troubleshoot attendance system issues
- Coordinate with vendors for escalations and maintenance
8. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular reports on IT issues, asset status, and system performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and processes
- Generate MIS reports for management review
Required Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of computer infrastructure and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with Windows OS and macOS
- Understanding of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP
- Experience in hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics
