IT Support Engineer
We are currently seeking a full-time IT Support Engineer to join our team in Pune, India to manage physical hardware and the local network.
How You Will Make an Impact:
End-User Support: Hardware and software support for both on-site and remote employees for their day-to-day hardware and software issues.
Hardware Management: Manage hardware inventories, procurement, repairs, and shipping logistics.
Documentation and Automation: Maintain and expand upon an internal knowledge base of solved use-cases and automate repetitive support tasks.
Ticket Management: Manage service requests via JIRA and ensure tasks are fully completed, delivered on time, and within internal SLAs.
User Management: Provision and deprovision users by role, ensuring correct access policies are adhered to.
Skills you will have fine-tuned:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency with the Atlassian suite is required, particularly Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
Knowledge and proficiency in GitHub and version control systems.
Experience in Google Workspace management.
Experience in Office 365 and SharePoint management.
Knowledge and proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 11, macOS, and Ubuntu.
Knowledge of computer hardware and network infrastructure, ability to proactively suggest upgrades as needed.
Ability and experience to perform laptop upgrades/repairs through our hardware vendor and self-repair if needed.
Knowledge of Identity, Access Management, and security compliance, with the ability to set up and manage users and roles.
Understanding of Kubernetes and deployments is a plus.
