Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Admin

Location: Kerala, Trivandrum

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to end-users, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support network systems, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Troubleshoot system, application, and connectivity problems
  • Respond to help desk tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Monitor system performance and ensure security compliance
  • Assist in maintaining IT documentation and procedures
  • Support software updates, patches, and backups
  • Coordinate with vendors and escalate complex issues when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN)
  • Familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified
  • Experience with remote support tools and ITSM platforms
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices
