Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Troubleshoot and support laptop and desktop hardware
- Troubleshoot and support productivity tools (Office suite, MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc)
- Troubleshoot and support printer hardware
- Install software on end-user devices
- Submit and resolve Service Desk Tickets via Odoo as per defined process
- Liaise with IT Managed Service Providers to help resolve end-user issues
- Assist with global IT initiatives
- Assist with any racking of server and network hardware when needed
- Assist with troubleshooting desktop and Jabber telephone issues
- Support video conferences using MS Teams or Webex
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology
- 4 years in Help Desk or IT department
- Strong understanding of IT standards and service delivery processes/systems
- Strong computer skills and general office applications
- Familiar with multiple computer hardware vendors (Cisco, Dell, Aruba)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading and writing)
- Self-starter, work independently with minimal supervision, be proactive and learn quickly
- Customer-centric attitude; full ownership of end-user ticket
- Proficient in IT customer service and end-user support
- Experience with most common end-users office software and hardware
- Ensures that all quality requirements described in the QMS manuals are followed and any changes, as necessary, are reported thru change management procedure for continual improvement.
