Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Troubleshoot and support laptop and desktop hardware
  • Troubleshoot and support productivity tools (Office suite, MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc)
  • Troubleshoot and support printer hardware
  • Install software on end-user devices
  • Submit and resolve Service Desk Tickets via Odoo as per defined process
  • Liaise with IT Managed Service Providers to help resolve end-user issues
  • Assist with global IT initiatives
  • Assist with any racking of server and network hardware when needed
  • Assist with troubleshooting desktop and Jabber telephone issues
  • Support video conferences using MS Teams or Webex

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology
  • 4 years in Help Desk or IT department
  • Strong understanding of IT standards and service delivery processes/systems
  • Strong computer skills and general office applications
  • Familiar with multiple computer hardware vendors (Cisco, Dell, Aruba)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Self-starter, work independently with minimal supervision, be proactive and learn quickly
  • Customer-centric attitude; full ownership of end-user ticket
  • Proficient in IT customer service and end-user support
  • Experience with most common end-users office software and hardware
  • Ensures that all quality requirements described in the QMS manuals are followed and any changes, as necessary, are reported thru change management procedure for continual improvement.
