IT Solution Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Solution Architect with over 15 years of IT industry experience and at least 3 years in solution architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and implementing scalable and secure IT solutions that align with business goals and technology roadmaps. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise systems, application integration, data management, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, steer, and govern IT roadmaps aligned with enterprise reference architecture.
• Assess architectural options and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions using cost-benefit or SWOT analysis.
• Architect secure, scalable, and high-performing applications across J2EE, integrations, ERP packages, and custom development.
• Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities using OAuth, ISAM, and OpenID standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Break down complex problems into simple, practical solutions to meet business and technical needs.
• Ensure compliance with architectural principles, governance frameworks, and security standards.
• Prepare and present architecture briefings and technical documentation to senior management.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in application architecture, cloud, and enterprise systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 15+ years in IT, including 3+ years in Application Solution Architecture.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, security, and data architecture.
• Methodologies: Certification or experience in TOGAF or relevant architecture methodologies preferred.
• Tools: Familiarity with Archimate, UML-based tools, or MEGA is an advantage.
• Cloud Expertise: Good understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Strategic and business-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

Domain Experience: Prior work experience with European organizations, particularly in the retail sector, is a plus.
