We are looking for a proactive IT Sales Executive who can drive lead generation and client acquisition through freelancing platforms (Upwork / Fiverr) and professional networking channels (LinkedIn). The ideal candidate should have prior experience in B2B IT sales, especially in selling Web, Mobile App, Blockchain, or SaaS-based development services.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new clients through Upwork, LinkedIn, and other freelance marketplaces.
- Prepare and submit customized bids/proposals aligned with client requirements.
- Conduct LinkedIn outreach (DMs, follow-ups, profile mapping) to connect with potential decisionmakers.
- Maintain consistent communication with leads through calls, messages, and emails.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate project scoping before proposal submission.
- Track and optimize bid win rates through data-driven improvements.
- Build long-term business relationships with clients.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience in IT sales or business development (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Upwork (proposal writing, bidding strategy, client qualification).
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn Sales Navigator / Outreach strategies.
- Good knowledge of web and app development technologies (basic understanding is enough).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- CRM or lead tracking experience is an advantage.
- Previous experience working with international clients (US/UK/EU/Middle East).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in selling custom development, SaaS, Blockchain, or AI-based products/services.
