About the Role

Zignuts is looking for a proactive and results-driven IT Sales / Business Development Executive to help expand our global client base. This role focuses on lead generation, prospect nurturing, and supporting the sales cycle for custom software development services. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, research, and generate new business leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, WhatsApp messages, and networking events
  • Qualify leads and nurture prospects through consistent follow-ups and personalized communication
  • Manage and update CRM systems with accurate lead, contact, and opportunity data
  • Conduct market and account research to identify potential clients, industries, and emerging opportunities in custom software services
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings between prospects and senior sales or technical teams
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align outreach strategies, campaigns, and messaging
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and capability decks as required
  • Track lead status, conversion metrics, and provide regular sales activity reports

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in IT sales, business development, or lead generation (preferably in custom software development or IT services)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to generate, qualify, and nurture leads through the sales funnel
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working with targets and KPIs
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications in sales, marketing, or business development are a plus
