Job Summary
The IT Provisioning Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing the provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts, access permissions (such as shared drive access and email configurations), and other IT resources. This role ensures all provisioning activities are performed accurately and in compliance with company policies and security standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of working independently, and possesses an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Provision, deprovision, and modify user accounts in Active Directory and other systems.
- Create and manage Exchange distribution lists and email accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely provisioning of security access to shares/files, applications, and email on multiple platforms.
- Handle onboarding, transfers, and terminations of employees and contractors.
- Address Tier 1 user support requests via ticketing system and/or email.
- Troubleshoot and resolve provisioning issues, escalating as needed.
- Familiarity with two-factor authentication setup and support.
- Provision and support external/internal audits.
- Collaborate with Government/Compliance and Cyber Security teams to ensure compliance with access policies.
- Adhere to company policies, including SOX and Government/Compliance guidelines.
- Monitor and audit user access to ensure security and compliance.
- Create and maintain documentation on policies and procedures.
- Be a strong team member and contribute to the development of fellow teammates.
- Work closely with business users and all support teams to ensure exceptional service and support.
- Assist with team projects and new initiatives.
- Aid with system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Provide support outside of normal business hours to address urgent issues or new initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, plus 1 - 3 years of experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10, 11 and Servers 2012, 2016, 2019.
- Prior experience with Windows Active Directory and Office 365 required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, including Outlook configuration and administration.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a technical team.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
