IT Project Manager - eCommerce / Retail

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our eCommerce division, based in Chennai, Bengaluru, or Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 10-18 years of experience in managing eCommerce projects, with a strong background in digital marketing and online retail operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end delivery of eCommerce projects within the retail domain, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines.
• Team Management: Oversee offshore teams, providing guidance, support, and performance monitoring.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and partner vendors, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
• Agile Delivery: Implement and promote Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), ensuring iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to project management standards, governance frameworks, and organizational processes.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of deliverables and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 12+ years in project management, with at least 5 years in the eCommerce and retail domain projects.
• Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with Waterfall when required.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead distributed teams and drive accountability.
• Experience: Experience working with global clients and managing multi-vendor environments, including the delivery of both fixed-price and fixed-capacity projects
• Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.).
• Certifications: PMP, CSM, or equivalent Agile certifications preferred.
• Ownership & Process Orientation: Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to organizational standards.
