IT Project Manager – Airline Operations

Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for aviation-related IT initiatives.

Implement and integrate airline operational systems including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and messaging systems with DCS, CUTE, APIS, BRS, and AODB.

Oversee multiple IT and cloud-based projects ensuring scope, timeline, and budget compliance.

Act as primary liaison between stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and functional teams.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and oversee solution integration.

Drive process improvements to optimize system performance and enhance passenger experience.

Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry guidelines; conduct testing and validation for system reliability.

Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure operational continuity.

Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to company policies.

Provide financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

Develop KPIs, performance dashboards, and present progress reports to leadership.

Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, conduct training sessions, and ensure resource alignment across projects.

Execute strategic initiatives while monitoring market trends for operational competitiveness.

Maintain effective cross-departmental communication and collaboration.
