As an IT Platform Architect for ServiceNow Global, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure IT platforms that support our global operations, with a strong focus on the ServiceNow platform as a strategic enabler. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, IT product owners, and business analysts, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry regulations.
Application Platform Architecture
- Design and maintain the global IT platform architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and future scalability with particular emphasis on ServiceNow platform architecture.
- Collaborate closely with IT product owners, IT solution architects, and development teams to guide platform development in a SAFe environment, including ServiceNow solution design, configuration, and implementation best practices.
- Establish architectural standards, best practices, and governance processes for platform components.
- Ensure integration and interoperability across global systems and platforms.
- Lead architectural reviews, providing guidance on technical solutions and ensuring compliance with architectural standards, with accountability for ServiceNow solution integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends, including the ServiceNow product roadmap, releases, and ecosystem innovations.
Application Management
- Understand complex, large-scale business processes and requirements to identify solution options and translate them into technical design, including leveraging ServiceNow capabilities to optimize digital workflows and automation.
- Contribute to application configurations as a specialist in the assigned domain.
- Implement applications for the assigned domain, including support software testing before go-live.
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards by integrally involving quality assurance colleagues before final software delivery.
- Provide troubleshooting support and actively pursue issue resolution, including root cause analysis within the ServiceNow platform and integrations.
- Create and maintain relevant documentation, such as workflow diagrams and use cases.
- Identify and research opportunities for continuous improvement aligned with stakeholders needs, including enhancement of ServiceNow modules and adoption of new platform features.
- Share application insight with stakeholders and prepare recommendations and action plans based on current application usage, technology trends, and best practices to drive successful outcomes, including maximizing value realization from the ServiceNow platform.
- Support the development of the business case and budget for the assigned application, including enhancement and efficiency improvements, with consideration of ServiceNow licensing, platform scalability, and ROI.

What we are looking for:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent and related experience preferred).
- Relevant certification would be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with application platform architecture or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of operational enhancement strategies.
- Strong English language skills required
- Equipped with necessary ServiceNow core skills (ITSM, ITOM, ServiceNow architecture, and implementation).
- Proficiency in data analysis and business management software.
- Specialized experience in working with the related domain.
- Experience in the medtech industry, either in a consulting company or directly in a life science healthcare company, is preferred.
