Roles & Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and maintaininstrumentation and control systemsintegrated with IT/OT environments.
Develop and supportDigital Twin modelsfor industrial equipment, plants, or processes.
Integratesensor data, PLC/SCADA systems, and IoT platformsinto digital twin environments.
Work withindustrial communication protocolssuch asModbus, OPC UA, MQTT, and Ethernet/IP.
Collaborate withautomation, data science, and IT teamsto build data pipelines and analytics models.
Performdata acquisition, signal validation, and instrumentation calibration.
Ensurecybersecurity and reliabilityin IT/OT integration systems.
Troubleshoot instrumentation, automation, and connectivity issues.
Educational qualification:
BE /. M. Techin one of the following fields:
Instrumentation Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Mechatronics Engineering
Automation Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Experience :
3 to 5 years
Mandatory/requires Skills :
. Sensor & transmitter selection (pressure, temperature, flow, level, vibration)
. P&ID interpretation and loop diagram understanding
. DCS / PLC fundamentals
. Control strategies (PID, cascade, feedforward)
. PLC programming basics (e.g., ladder logic, function block)
. SCADA systems
. Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC-UA)
. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
Soft skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in cross-functional teams (IT, automation, operations)
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge ofIndustrial IoT (IIoT)platforms
Experience withpredictive maintenance models
Familiarity with3D plant models or CAD integration
Understanding ofcybersecurity in OT environments
Exposure to end to end IoT projects with wireless communication will be an added advantage.
