Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
IT Software Operations Head to lead and manage the day to day operations of our enterprise software systems used across jewellery manufacturing export finance and compliance processes. The role requires strong ownership of application stability performance security and continuous improvement of business critical ERP platforms.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business users development teams infrastructure partners and senior management to ensure smooth reliable and scalable software operations.
Key Responsibilities
Software Operations and Application Management
- Own end to end operations of in house ERP and business applications
- Ensure high availability performance and stability of all production systems
- Monitor application health logs incidents and SLA compliance
- Plan and manage application releases patches and upgrades
- Coordinate issue resolution and root cause analysis for production incidents
Team Leadership and Vendor Coordination
- Lead internal support and operations teams
- Define roles processes and operational KPIs
- Coordinate with external vendors consultants and technology partners
- Ensure proper documentation SOPs and knowledge transfer
Infrastructure Security and Compliance
- Work closely with infrastructure teams for servers databases and backups
- Ensure data security access control audit trails and compliance readiness
- Support audits related to finance export and IT governance
- Implement best practices for application security and risk management
Business Collaboration
- Understand jewellery business workflows including manufacturing inventory finance and exports
- Translate business requirements into operational and system level improvements
- Act as a key stakeholder for ERP enhancements and process automation
- Provide regular status updates dashboards and reports to management
Process Improvement and Scalability
- Drive continuous improvement in system performance and user experience
- Identify bottlenecks manual processes and automation opportunities
- Support scalability planning for business growth and international operations
Required Skills And Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience managing ERP or large scale business applications
- Good understanding of .NET based systems SQL Server and web applications
- Knowledge of application hosting environments on premises or cloud
- Familiarity with IT operations monitoring backups and disaster recovery
- Understanding of security best practices audit trails and role based access
Functional and Domain Knowledge
- Experience working with manufacturing or jewellery ERP systems preferred
- Understanding of finance accounting inventory and compliance workflows
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical teams
