We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Manager to lead and build our internal technology infrastructure and operations. As our dedicated IT Manager, you will be pivotal in establishing secure, scalable, and efficient IT systems from the ground up. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage all aspects of IT, from day-to-day support to strategic planning, ensuring our team has the tools and environment needed to thrive in a fast-paced startup.
Mandatory Skill Set
- Experience with network administration, endpoint management, and security operations
- Experience with IT security frameworks, compliance standards, and audit preparations (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Roles & Responsibilities
- IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
- Lead and manage IT operations team, mentor and develop team members to achieve performance goals
- Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems, end-user devices, and enterprise applications
- Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows/Linux servers, and on-premises infrastructure for optimal performance and security
- Manage hybrid IT environments, coordinating between on-premises and cloud resources
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements
2. Cloud Infrastructure & Modern Tech Stack
- Manage AWS, Azure and GCP infrastructure operations (EC2/S3/RDS, VMs/App Services)
- Implement and monitor cloud security posture (Security Groups, NACLs, IAM policies)
- Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations
- Ensure continuous compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, DPDP via cloud configuration audits
- Conduct regular access reviews across all cloud platform
- Manage cloud services utilization and cost optimization.
3. Security & Compliance
- Ensure implementation of enterprise-grade cybersecurity controls and security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II compliance)
- Oversee identity and access management using AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, and Google Cloud Identity
- Implement Zero Trust security architecture and multi-factor authentication (MFA) across organization
- Support in conducting regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and remediate findings
- Maintain compliance with data protection regulations including GDPR, DPDP Act, and EU AI Act (where applicable)
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans with regular testing
- Maintain secure data backup and recovery procedures; ensure RPO/RTO objectives are met
- Implement endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions for threat prevention and detection
4. IT Project Management & Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with organizational business objectives
- Lead IT transformation initiatives and technology modernization projects
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic implementations
- Manage IT budgets, capital expenditure, and operational costs; prepare cost-benefit analyses
- Oversee vendor management, including evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring
- Conduct IT gap analysis and readiness assessments for compliance and security frameworks
- Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes
5.Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners
- Negotiate licensing agreements and service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Coordinate with business departments to understand IT requirements and provide solutions
- Serve as primary escalation point for business-critical IT issues
- Provide IT advisory to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders
