Key Responsibilities
Network & Data Center Deployment
- Deploy, configure, and support production and corporate networks in data centers and POP sites
- Calculate equipment power requirements and coordinate with Engineering, Facilities, and vendors
- Manage project timelines to ensure network turn-ups meet deadlines
- Develop cage and rack designs, floor plans, wiring diagrams, port maps, and face elevations
Asset & Infrastructure Management
- Track and manage networking assets at data center and POP sites
- Document and follow RMA procedures for vendor equipment
- Maintain detailed network and server documentation including diagrams, configurations, and test procedures
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and operational best practices
Technical Operations & Troubleshooting
- Configure, monitor, and repair servers and network equipment using internal tools and scripts
- Detect, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network errors
- Support escalations to higher-tier teams and assist Sales and Customer Support with technical operations
- Analyze complex situations and apply troubleshooting, creative problem-solving, and system knowledge
Collaboration & Vendor Management
- Work closely with Network Engineering, Logistics, and equipment vendors for new deployments
- Create statements of work (SOWs) for vendors and ensure adherence to deployment plans
- Communicate effectively with service providers and colocation facilities globally
- Participate in ongoing POP deployment projects, supporting global teams
Physical & Operational Requirements
- Ability to lift/move 3040 lbs and perform office tasks (sitting/standing)
- Frequent travel (2050%) to POP sites and data centers as required
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organization skills
