We are looking for a dedicated and skilled IT Infrastructure and Support professional to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will maintain and optimize our technology systems, ensuring seamless operations and providing top-notch support to our users.

What you will do as our new IT Infrastructure Engineer:

• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (core focus)
• Host and support applications on IIS, including debugging issues
• Administer Azure AD / Entra ID, including SSO setup and management
• Maintain SQL Server & PostgreSQL health (non-DBA level)
• Manage VM environments (Hyper-V / VMware / Proxmox)
• Handle firewalls & switches (operational support)
• Own backup & recovery processes to minimize downtime
• Monitor infrastructure and proactively resolve issues
• Provide end-user IT support (onboarding, PC setup, troubleshooting)
• Work collaboratively with a Montreal-based global team

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in Windows Server administration & troubleshooting
• Hands-on expertise with IIS hosting & debugging
• Solid knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID & SSO
• Experience with SQL Server & PostgreSQL maintenance
• Exposure to virtualization platforms (Hyper-V / VMware / Proxmox)
• Basic networking knowledge (firewalls, switches)
• Proven experience in backup & disaster recovery
• Working knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu basics
• Strong monitoring & troubleshooting mindset
• Ability to handle end-user IT support

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Kubernetes (container awareness)
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ or messaging systems
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
• Comfortable working in distributed/global teams (time-zone awareness)
• Strong written communication (async collaboration)
• Self-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task across infra and helpdesk responsibilities
