IT Global Commodity Buyer!

As a Global IT Commodity Buyer, you will own the end to end procurement process for IT products and services, lead tender events and eAuctions, evaluate bids, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the category. You'll play a pivotal role in defining and executing the global IT sourcing strategy.
What You'll Do
- Lead the purchasing of Services & IT products, ensuring competitive pricing, strong quality standards, optimal payment terms, timely delivery, and full compliance with Procurement policies.
- Manage the full end to end procurement cycle — from RFQs and tender preparation to evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Coordinate large, complex, and diverse projects, tailoring sourcing strategies to category needs.
- Develop and deploy global category strategies and run eAuctions for high impact projects.
- Identify and drive cost saving opportunities, consumption reduction initiatives, and value engineering projects.
- Perform cost analysis, compare bids, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and implement the procurement strategy.
- Oversee supplier performance, manage contracts, and ensure continuous improvement in supplier relationships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to identify new opportunities and strengthen category performance.
What We Need
- Experience: minimum 5 years in Purchasing with experience in complex supplier negotiations including preparing and administering Long Term Agreements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above.
- Tools: MS Office
- Language: English
