Job Title: IT Helpdesk / IT Support
Location: Powai, Mumbai
Experience: 4 years+
Notice Period: [Immediate Joiner to 30 days]
Education: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in IT, Computer Science
Job Purpose :
To provide first-level technical support to end users by resolving hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth IT operations and minimal downtime across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide L1 technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person.
Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts, password resets, and access rights using Active Directory
Support Microsoft Office, Office 365, Outlook, and other business applications
Log, track, and update issues in the ticketing system (ServiceNow/Jira/Fresh service, etc.)
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L2/L3 support teams.
Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding (system setup, access provisioning)
Ensure timely resolution of tickets as per defined SLAs.
Maintain IT asset records and documentation.
Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of Desktop Support / IT Helpdesk operations
Hands-on experience with Active Directory (user management, password reset)
Good understanding of Office 365 / Outlook troubleshooting
Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
Basic knowledge of networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and user-handling abilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Relevant certifications (preferred): Microsoft / CompTIA / ITIL
