Job Description

This role is for an IT Head with a proven track record in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's technology, from application development and system architecture to budgeting and information security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
  • Technology Management: Select and implement technological solutions, oversee all system design and architecture changes, and consolidate technology platforms.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop, track, and control the annual operating and capital budgets, and manage and optimize infrastructure assets.
  • Security & Compliance: Assess information security risks, implement security policies, and ensure cyber risks are managed effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
  • Process & Standards: Create overall technology standards and practices, ensure adherence, and maintain business systems standards.
  • Analysis & Development: Lead cross-functional teams in business process modeling, conduct fit/gap analysis, and define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance, define reporting and alerting requirements, and develop and execute comprehensive system test plans.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively resolve customer issues, engage with stakeholders to incorporate usability needs, and deliver informative presentations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an IT Head or in a similar leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in the banking domain.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems (hardware/software), networks, and information security.
  • Experience in controlling IT budgets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using SQL and other technical tools to decipher complex data.
