This role is for an IT Head with a proven track record in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's technology, from application development and system architecture to budgeting and information security.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
- Technology Management: Select and implement technological solutions, oversee all system design and architecture changes, and consolidate technology platforms.
- Financial Oversight: Develop, track, and control the annual operating and capital budgets, and manage and optimize infrastructure assets.
- Security & Compliance: Assess information security risks, implement security policies, and ensure cyber risks are managed effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
- Process & Standards: Create overall technology standards and practices, ensure adherence, and maintain business systems standards.
- Analysis & Development: Lead cross-functional teams in business process modeling, conduct fit/gap analysis, and define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance, define reporting and alerting requirements, and develop and execute comprehensive system test plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively resolve customer issues, engage with stakeholders to incorporate usability needs, and deliver informative presentations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Head or in a similar leadership role.
- Extensive experience in the banking domain.
- Strong understanding of IT systems (hardware/software), networks, and information security.
- Experience in controlling IT budgets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using SQL and other technical tools to decipher complex data.
