Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Engineer with 35+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, firewall systems, and endpoint security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system reliability, ensuring network security, and supporting day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintainphysical and virtual servers(Windows/Linux environments).
- Manage and monitornetwork infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Configure and maintainfirewall security policies, VPNs, and access controls.
- Implement and manageendpoint security solutions(antivirus, EDR, patch management).
- Perform regularsystem monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Ensuresystem performance, availability, and security compliance.
- Monitor logs and respond tosecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for IT projects and upgrades.
- Maintain proper documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 35+years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server / Linux Server administration
- Firewall technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Endpoint security tools
- Networking concepts
- Experience withActive Directory, Group Policy, and user management.
- Knowledge ofbackup solutions and disaster recovery.
- Familiarity withvirtualization technologies(VMware / Hyper-V).
- Basic understanding ofcloud platforms(AWS/Azure is a plus).
