Role Description
- The IT Global Service Desk is responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients, including diagnosis and resolution of IT issues, as well as ensuring seamless operation of their computer systems and IT services.
- This position is for the role of IT Support Engineer for a renowned MNC. IT Support Engineer will provide desktop/laptop/software support and assistance related to any Software/Hardware issues to the users, resolve the issues logged in the ITSM tools like ServiceNow, escalate issues to the next level as and when required and provide exceptional customer service to the users via different channels like in-person/remotely/call/chat etc.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, B.E., MCA, BCA, BSc. etc..) in Computer Science or any related field
Technical Skills
- Min. 2 years of experience in IT/Desktop support
- Knowledge of Windows /Mac operating systems
- Knowledge of basic applications like MS Office Suite, O365, Active Directory concepts etc..
- Knowledge to install/uninstall software applications on Laptop/Desktop devices
- Knowledge of L1 support protocols
- Excellent Troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of any ticketing tools will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of network protocols and configuration is a plus
Analytical & Behavioural Skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills handling internal and externals customers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a team environment
